Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the AnonyMeets mobile application ("App," "Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

1.1 Binding Agreement

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and AnonyMeets. By creating an account or using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1.2 Eligibility

To use AnonyMeets, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be an employee or authorized member of a registered organization
  • Have a valid email address and employee ID
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
  • Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws

1.3 Organization Authorization

You represent and warrant that you have authorization from your organization to use this Service and that your use complies with your organization's policies.

2. Description of Service

2.1 What AnonyMeets Provides

AnonyMeets is an anonymous workplace discussion platform that enables:

  • Topic Creation: Propose discussion topics for your organization
  • Democratic Voting: Vote on topics to prioritize discussions
  • Live Sessions: Participate in scheduled anonymous discussions
  • Anonymous Communication: Engage without revealing your real identity
  • Poll Participation: Vote on poll questions related to topics

2.2 Service Availability

  • We strive to provide 24/7 availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
  • We may suspend or terminate the Service for maintenance, updates, or improvements
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time

2.3 No Warranty

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use AnonyMeets, you must:

  • Provide a valid email address
  • Provide a valid employee ID from your organization
  • Verify your email address
  • Accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Using a strong, unique password

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account.

3.3 Anonymous Identity

  • You will be assigned a randomly generated anonymous username (e.g., "Stallion_232")
  • You will select an anonymous avatar from predefined options
  • You must NOT reveal your real identity or attempt to identify other users
  • You must NOT create multiple accounts to manipulate voting or discussions

3.4 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

4. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

4.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use AnonyMeets only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

Content Violations:

  • Post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
  • Share content that infringes intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights
  • Post spam, advertisements, or promotional content without authorization
  • Share false, misleading, or fraudulent information

Identity and Privacy Violations:

  • Attempt to identify other anonymous users
  • Reveal your own or others' real identities
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Create multiple accounts to manipulate voting or discussions

Technical Violations:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
  • Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to access or interact with the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or any harmful code
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers

Workplace Violations:

  • Share confidential or proprietary information of your organization
  • Harass, bully, or threaten other users
  • Engage in discriminatory behavior based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic
  • Violate your organization's code of conduct or policies

4.2 Consequences of Violations

Violation of these Terms may result in:

  • Warning or temporary suspension
  • Permanent account termination
  • Removal of content
  • Legal action if required
  • Reporting to your organization or law enforcement

5. Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create (topics, messages, comments, votes). By posting content, you grant us:

  • A worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the Service
  • The right to moderate, remove, or edit content that violates these Terms
  • The right to retain anonymous content for historical and analytical purposes

5.2 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy and legality of your content
  • Ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights
  • Any consequences arising from your content

We do not endorse, support, or guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content.

5.3 Our Intellectual Property

The AnonyMeets App, including its design, features, code, logos, and trademarks, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute our App or any part of it
  • Use our trademarks or branding without permission
  • Create derivative works based on our Service

5.4 Content Moderation

We reserve the right to:

  • Monitor and review user content
  • Remove content that violates these Terms
  • Take action against users who violate these Terms
  • Cooperate with law enforcement investigations

We are not obligated to monitor content but may do so at our discretion.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

6.1 Privacy Policy

Your use of AnonyMeets is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

6.2 Anonymity

While we implement measures to protect your anonymity:

  • We cannot guarantee absolute anonymity
  • You are responsible for not revealing your identity
  • We may be required to disclose information to comply with legal obligations

6.3 Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures, but we cannot guarantee absolute security. You use the Service at your own risk.

7. Voting and Session Rules

7.1 Voting System

  • Each user gets one vote per topic
  • Votes can be changed before the voting deadline
  • Voting is anonymous; individual votes are not disclosed
  • Topics with the most votes may be scheduled for live sessions (subject to organization policies)

7.2 Live Sessions

  • Sessions are scheduled based on voting results and availability
  • Sessions have a defined start time and duration (typically 60 minutes)
  • Participation is voluntary and anonymous
  • Sessions become read-only after completion

7.3 Fair Participation

You must NOT:

  • Create fake accounts to manipulate voting
  • Coordinate with others to artificially boost votes
  • Spam topics or sessions
  • Disrupt live discussions

8. Third-Party Services

8.1 Firebase and Google Services

AnonyMeets uses Firebase (Google) for:

  • Authentication
  • Database storage
  • Analytics
  • Push notifications
  • Cloud functions

Your use of these services is subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

8.2 External Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for:

  • The content or practices of third-party sites
  • Any loss or damage from using third-party services

8.3 No Endorsement

We do not endorse or assume responsibility for any third-party services linked within the App.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

9.1 Service Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties of accuracy, reliability, or availability
  • Warranties that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted

9.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
  • Service interruptions or errors
  • Unauthorized access to your data
  • Actions or content of other users

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED ₹1,000 (ONE THOUSAND RUPEES) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO USE THE SERVICE (IF ANY), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

9.3 User Responsibility

You acknowledge that:

  • You use the Service at your own risk
  • You are responsible for your interactions with other users
  • We are not responsible for disputes between users
  • We are not responsible for employment-related consequences of your participation

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AnonyMeets, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any laws or third-party rights
  • Your content or conduct on the Service
  • Any dispute between you and other users

11. Modifications to Terms

11.1 Right to Modify

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective:

  • Upon posting the updated Terms in the App
  • After notifying you via email or in-app notification
  • After the "Last Updated" date is changed

11.2 Acceptance of Changes

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.

11.3 Material Changes

For material changes, we will provide at least 7 days' notice before the changes take effect.

12. Termination

12.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by:

  • Using the "Delete Account" feature in app settings
  • Contacting us at admin@indmon.in

Upon termination:

  • Your personal data will be deleted within 30 days
  • Anonymous content may be retained for historical purposes
  • You will lose access to all Service features

12.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
  • Your account is inactive for an extended period
  • We discontinue the Service
  • Required by law or legal process

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your license to use the Service ends immediately
  • You must cease all use of the App
  • Provisions that should survive termination (e.g., indemnification, disclaimers) remain in effect

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [Your City], India.

13.3 Informal Resolution

Before filing a legal claim, you agree to contact us at admin@indmon.in to attempt informal resolution. We will attempt to resolve disputes in good faith within 30 days.

13.4 Arbitration (Optional)

13.5 Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in class actions or representative proceedings.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AnonyMeets regarding the Service.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

14.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our written consent. We may assign these Terms to any successor or affiliate.

14.5 Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, or government actions.

14.6 Language

These Terms are written in English. Any translations are provided for convenience only. In case of conflict, the English version prevails.

By clicking "I Agree" during registration or by using AnonyMeets, you acknowledge that:

You have read and understood these Terms of Service

You are at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent
You are authorized by your organization to use this Service
You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
You understand that anonymity is not absolute and you are responsible for protecting your identity
