Reasons for cancellation may include (but not limited to):

• Misuse or abuse of features
• Fraudulent activity or code sharing
• Technical or business reasons
• Promotional campaign termination

Users have NO CLAIM to continued premium access. No compensation will be provided for cancelled premium access.

12.5 NO LIABILITY FOR PREMIUM FEATURES

Premium features are provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for:

• Loss of premium access
• Feature unavailability or malfunction
• Data loss related to premium features
• Any damages arising from premium feature usage

Users acknowledge premium is a free gift with no guaranteed duration.

12.6 CODE SHARING PROHIBITION

• Redemption codes are for personal use only
• Sharing, selling, or distributing codes is strictly prohibited
• We may revoke premium access for code sharing violations

The Ind Pocket app, branding, and design are intellectual property of the developers.

19.2 Restrictions

Users may not:

• Reverse engineer the app
• Copy features or design
• Use branding for commercial purposes

20.1 Right to Terminate

We reserve the right to terminate service for violations of these terms.

20.2 Upon Termination

• Local data remains user property
• Premium access will be revoked immediately
• User obligations survive termination

These terms are governed by Indian laws.

21.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.

We may update these terms periodically.

22.2 Acceptance

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

23.1 No Liability

Under no circumstances shall the developers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

23.2 Includes

This includes but is not limited to:

• Loss of profits or revenue
• Loss of data or information
• Business interruption
• Personal injury or property damage
• Any other pecuniary loss
• Loss of premium access or features

23.3 Maximum Liability

Maximum liability is ZERO as no payment is involved.

24.1 User Agreement

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• User's violation of these terms
• User's misuse of the app
• User's financial decisions
• Any third-party claims related to user's data
• Misuse of premium features or redemption codes

25.1 Beyond Our Control

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

• Natural disasters
• Government actions
• Internet service provider failures
• Device manufacturer issues
• Acts of war or terrorism

26.1 SMS Auto-Tracking Feature

Ind Pocket offers an OPTIONAL SMS Auto-Tracking feature to automatically detect and log financial transactions from SMS messages.

• This feature is completely optional and disabled by default
• Users must explicitly enable it in Settings
• Users can disable it at any time
• The app works fully without SMS permissions

26.2 Why We Need SMS Permission

SMS permission is requested ONLY for:

• Reading financial SMS - Bank transaction alerts, UPI payment confirmations, credit card statements
• Automatic expense logging - Saves time by auto-detecting payments
• Transaction accuracy - Reduces manual entry errors

26.3 What We DO NOT Do

We NEVER:

• ❌ Read personal or non-financial SMS messages
• ❌ Access OTPs, passwords, or verification codes
• ❌ Read messages from contacts or friends
• ❌ Send SMS from your device
• ❌ Share SMS data with third parties
• ❌ Upload SMS data to any server
• ❌ Use SMS data for advertising or marketing

26.4 SMS Filtering

We ONLY read SMS from known financial institutions:

• Banks (SBI, HDFC, ICICI, Axis, etc.)
• UPI services (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.)
• Credit card companies
• Payment gateways

All other SMS messages are completely ignored and never accessed.

27.1 What Data We Extract

From financial SMS, we extract ONLY:

• Transaction amount (₹)
• Merchant/payee name
• Transaction date and time
• Transaction type (debit/credit)
• SMS sender ID (bank/UPI identifier)

27.2 Local Storage Only

🔒 100% Local Processing:

• All SMS data is processed LOCALLY on your device
• NO SMS data is sent to our servers
• NO internet connection required for SMS processing
• SMS data stays on YOUR device only

27.3 Data Retention

• Parsed transaction data is stored in local database
• Original SMS messages are NOT stored by our app
• Users can delete parsed transactions anytime
• Uninstalling the app deletes all data

27.4 No Third-Party Sharing

We NEVER share SMS-derived data with:

• Advertising networks
• Analytics services
• Data brokers
• Any third-party services
• Government agencies (unless legally required)

28.1 Security Measures

• SMS data encrypted in local database
• No network transmission of SMS content
• Background processing secured with WorkManager
• Device-level security (lock screen, biometrics) protects data

28.2 User Responsibility

Users are responsible for:

• Keeping device secure with lock screen/PIN
• Not sharing device access with unauthorized persons
• Reviewing and approving auto-detected transactions
• Reporting any suspicious activity

28.3 Pending Transaction Review

• Auto-detected transactions are marked as "Pending"
• Users must manually approve or reject each transaction
• Pending transactions are NOT included in expense calculations
• Users have full control over what gets logged

29.1 Easy Enable/Disable

• Toggle SMS Auto-Tracking ON/OFF in Settings anytime
• Disabling stops all SMS processing immediately
• Previously detected transactions remain (can be deleted manually)
• No penalty for disabling the feature

29.2 Permission Revocation

• Users can revoke SMS permission from Android Settings
• App continues to work without SMS features
• Manual transaction entry always available

29.3 Data Deletion

• Delete individual auto-detected transactions
• Reject pending transactions to prevent logging
• Clear all app data from Android Settings
• Uninstall app to remove all data permanently

29.4 Transparency

• View all pending SMS transactions in dedicated screen
• See which SMS messages were processed
• Review parsed transaction details before approval
• Full visibility into auto-tracking activity

30.1 No Liability for SMS Processing

We are NOT liable for:

• Missed or undetected financial SMS
• Incorrect transaction parsing or amount extraction
• Duplicate transaction detection failures
• Wrong merchant name identification
• Incorrect transaction categorization

30.2 User Verification Required

• Users MUST verify all auto-detected transactions
• Do not rely solely on SMS auto-tracking
• Cross-check with bank statements regularly
• Report parsing errors for improvement

30.3 Beta Feature Notice

SMS Auto-Tracking is provided "as is" and may have limitations:

• Not all banks/UPI formats supported
• SMS format changes may break parsing
• Regional language SMS may not be detected
• Feature improvements ongoing
