These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and CodeWala. By downloading, installing, or using the CodeWala app ("App"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

The App is developed and maintained by IndMon ("we," "our," "us").

2. Description of Service

CodeWala is an educational Android application designed to:

• Teach programming to beginners in simple, easy-to-understand language
• Cover topics such as Web Development, Android Development, DevOps, and more
• Provide AI-powered chat assistance (using the user's own API key)
• Offer an offline learning experience

Service Availability: We strive to provide consistent availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue any feature at any time.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

• You may create an account using Google Sign-In
• You may also use the App without signing in (Skip option is available)
• You must provide accurate information and must not use another person's identity

3.2 Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, sign out immediately
• We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account

3.3 Account Termination

You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. AI Chat Feature — Important Terms

• To use AI Chat, you must enter your own API key (from Google AI Studio, Groq, or OpenRouter)
• Your API key is encrypted and stored on your device only — it never reaches our servers
• AI responses come from third-party AI providers (Google, Meta/Groq, OpenRouter) — we do not guarantee the accuracy of their content
• AI-generated answers are for reference purposes only — do not treat them as definitive truth
• API key usage and billing are governed by the respective AI provider's policies
• We are not responsible for any misuse of your API key or unexpected charges from AI providers

5. Use of Content

• All learning content in the App is intended for educational purposes only
• You may use the content for personal learning
• Commercial redistribution or resale of the content is strictly prohibited
• Copying content and publishing it on other apps or websites is strictly prohibited

• The name "CodeWala," its logo, design, code, and content are the intellectual property of IndMon
• Third-party tools used in the App (Firebase, Retrofit, etc.) are the property of their respective owners
• Copyright of AI-generated responses is governed by the respective AI provider's policies
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App or use our trademarks without written permission

8.1 Service Disclaimers:

• The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis — we do not guarantee 100% uptime or a bug-free experience
• Learning content may contain factual errors — always verify with official documentation for important decisions
• AI responses may be inaccurate — always verify code before using it in production
• We are not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from the use of the App
• Third-party AI service availability and pricing are outside our control

9. Data & Privacy

For details on how your data is handled, please refer to our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

10. Termination

• You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time
• We may restrict or terminate access for any user who violates these Terms, without prior notice
• Uninstalling the App automatically deletes all locally stored data

• We may update the App from time to time with new features, bug fixes, and content additions
• These Terms may also be updated — the latest version will be published on this page
• Continued use of the App after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
